Chuck
and Dawn Evers Corley: Treasures of the Orient
In
the first of a two-part program, Corley
will teach us to "read" the design and begin to understand 17th and 18th century Chinese
porcelain from his 3000-piece private collection which includes
Paul Revere's wedding china. He will tell stories to
educate us on color, symbols and the meanings behind
the lovely hand-painted pieces.
Mrs.
Corley, known to us as the "Charleston silver lady," will
focus on pearls---all kinds! Showing us over 300 strands, she will
mesmerize us as she has twice before on other enthralling subjects.
Her pearls are directly from her own pearl diver in Beijing. The
Corleys will appraise items for you in their specialties. |
